Terms of Service

Effective: October 2, 2026 · 한국어

This English version is a translation of the Korean terms. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails to the extent permitted by law.

Article 1 (Purpose and scope)

These terms set out the conditions for using the mobile game Soul Dungeon (the "App") provided by SangLimSoft ("we", "us"), and the rights and obligations of us and our users.

These terms are posted on this page and can be viewed in the App through the "Terms of Service" link in Settings > Other. Matters relating to personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy, not these terms.

Article 2 (The service)

  1. The App is a single-player action roguelike. It has no online features such as accounts, chat, leaderboards or trading between players, and the game can be played without the internet.
  2. The App is free. It has no ads, in-app purchases or paid content, so these terms contain no provisions on payment or refunds.
  3. In-game currencies such as soul stones and gold are used only for game progress. They cannot be bought with money or exchanged for cash or other currencies.

Article 3 (Accounts and ending use)

The App has no sign-up or login. To stop using it, delete the App or erase the data stored on your device with "Reset Local Data" in Settings.

Article 4 (Saving game records)

  1. Game progress and settings are stored only on your device. We do not keep or back up game progress on any server.
  2. If you delete the App, use "Reset Local Data", or lose, replace or reset your device, your game records are lost and we cannot restore them. There is no feature to move records to another device.
  3. If saved data is damaged, the App tries to recover it from a backup on the device and starts fresh if it cannot. Because we hold no game records on a server, we cannot restore or compensate them individually. If you suspect a bug, please tell us through the channels in Article 12; we will investigate and fix it in an App update.

Article 5 (Gameplay records and error information)

To improve the game and fix errors, we may receive your gameplay records and error information on a collection server we operate. You can turn this on or off with the "App usage statistics and error information" switch on the first launch screen and in Settings, and the game works the same when it is off. Accepting these terms is not consent to this sending. The legal basis and starting value of the sending, the items sent, retention, international transfers, and your rights and how to exercise them are governed by the Privacy Policy.

Article 6 (User obligations)

You must not:

Article 7 (Ownership of rights)

  1. Rights to the App and its content belong to us, except for the items in paragraphs 2 and 3, which belong to their owners and follow their licenses.
  2. The App's character, monster, tile and weapon art uses Kenney's (kenney.nl) "Tiny Dungeon" assets; its sound effects use Kenney's "Interface Sounds", "Impact Sounds" and "RPG Audio" assets; and its background music uses tracks by Juhani Junkala and Spring Spring published on OpenGameArt (opengameart.org). These assets and tracks are distributed under CC0 1.0 Universal (public domain dedication). The App's fonts are Noto Sans KR and Noto Sans JP, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
  3. Open-source software included in the App is subject to its own license. The list and full texts are in the App under Settings > Other > "Credits & Open Source Licenses".
  4. We grant you the right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms.

Article 8 (Changes to and ending of the service)

  1. We may change the game's content, values and features through App updates.
  2. If we end the service, we will announce the end date and reason at least 30 days before the end date.

Article 9 (Disclaimer of warranty)

The App is provided free of charge and as is. We do not warrant that the App will work without interruption or error on every device and operating system.

Article 10 (Limitation of liability and exceptions)

  1. Unless we act intentionally or with gross negligence, we are not liable for damage caused by:
    • Loss of game records stored only on the device under Article 4 due to deleting the App, "Reset Local Data", or loss, failure, replacement or reset of the device
    • Being unable to use the game because of an App update or the end of the service
    • Being unable to install or run the App because of the operating system, device manufacturer or app store
    • Consequences of a user's breach of Article 6
  2. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to ordinary damages. Because the App is free, you have paid us nothing.
  3. Article 9 and this article apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not apply to:
    • Damage caused by our intent or gross negligence
    • Cases where the law prohibits exclusion or limitation of liability
    • Rights guaranteed to you as a consumer by consumer protection laws

Article 11 (Changes to these terms)

  1. We may change these terms to the extent permitted by law.
  2. When we make changes that are unfavorable to users or important, we will announce them 30 days before they take effect. Changed terms, with the changes and effective date, are posted on this page and also mentioned in the store update notes of an App update released around that time.
  3. If you do not agree to the changed terms, you may stop using the App and delete it.

Article 12 (Governing law and contact)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The App is operated by SangLimSoft. For questions about the App, email support@sanglimsoft.com or use the contact form on the support page.
